On Saturday, September 21st, 2024, Vermont State Trooper Daniel Bohnyak detained me for asking for comment on Border Patrol Agent Zachary Apotheker being retaliated against for detailing how underage girls are being sent to unknown locations without proper biometrics and MS-13 gang members are receiving free healthcare, in the film "Line in the Sand."
Today we salute you, Sophie Clark of Newsweek, for CORRECTING the false narrative that I "was not detained" by Vermont State Police.
After releasing a correction acknowledging that Vermont State Police did detain me, backed by video evidence of the Vermont State Trooper saying "You are not free to leave," your journalism has finally caught up with the facts.
All this could have been avoided if we just stick to the facts! Next time, try getting it right the first time.

Within minutes of reaching the U.S. border from South America, Anthony Rubin and his brother were surrounded by armed men, blindfolded, and taken deep into cartel territory.
“They tied us up… they just kept saying, ‘We’re going to see El Jefe,’” said Rubin.
They were interrogated, searched for wires, and forced to hand over all their electronics, except one hidden GoPro that miraculously survived.
The cartel smashed the equipment, destroyed footage, and said: “That’s the cost of your life.” Anthony and his brother walked away alive with a story few journalists live to tell.
